Job description

Sunrise Therapy Services is looking for a Physical Therapist to join our team in the providing home based services to children and families in the Arizona Early Intervention Program (Birth to Three) and to, possibly, provide services to children 3 and older (DDD).

Essential Job Functions

As a member of the multidisciplinary team, the position includes providing evaluations, participating in child and family assessments, and providing ongoing therapy to infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities. Services are provided in natural environments including, but not limited to, the child’s home, child care centers, parks and other community settings. The primary focus is to assist parents/caregivers in supporting their child’s learning and development within their everyday routines and activities.

Minimum Qualifications ·

  • A Master’s degree in Physical Therapy
  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of Arizona ·
  • Pediatric experience is preferred

Speech-Language Pathologist and Speech Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide home-based therapy services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities in the West Valley area.

Essential Job Functions

  • Provide evaluations, participate in child and family assessments, and offer ongoing therapy.
  • Support children’s communication skills through everyday routines and activities in natural settings.
  • Participate in core team meetings and IFSP meetings.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Licensed as a Speech Therapist in Arizona.
  • Pediatric experience with feeding is preferred but not required.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is desired but not required.

Licensed Social Worker

We are seeking a Licensed Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary team, providing support to families of infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities in Phoenix.

Essential Job Functions

  • Conduct initial evaluations to determine AzEIP eligibility and participate in the family assessment process.
  • Facilitate family support services through flexible, responsive interactions with families and team members.
  • Provide direct social work services or coaching to team members in support of the family’s goals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work.
  • Valid AZ license (LBSW or LMSW).
  • Experience working with infants and toddlers and their families.
  • Completion of AzEIP’s Standards of Practice is desired but can be completed within the first three years of employment.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Psychologist

We are seeking a Psychologist to conduct evaluations and provide support to children and families, in natural environments, within Phoenix.

Essential Job Functions

  • Conduct evaluations to determine AzEIP eligibility and participate in the family assessment process.
  • Work directly with families in a coaching capacity or alongside other team members.
  • Facilitate family support services and attend team meetings as requested.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Psychology or School Psychology.
  • Licensed by the Arizona Board of Psychology Examiners or certified by the Arizona Department of Education.
  • Experience working with infants and toddlers is desired.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
